How it's Made

Made by one pair of hands

No assembly line, no shortcuts. Every belt and bag is cut, punched, edged, and saddle-stitched where it counts. The same techniques that kept working leather in service for a hundred years.

Cut from a single hide

Chosen and cut so the grain runs true, edge to edge.

Saddle-stitched by hand

Two needles, waxed thread, gives a seam that won't unravel.

Edges slicked and waxed by hand until they shine.

We source full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig, a Pennsylvania tannery working the same way since 1867. Tanned slowly with tree bark, not chemicals, it develops a deep patina and only looks better with age.
